Spicy Rice

 INGREDIENTS

 

Bolied chicken shredded- ½ cup

Mixed veg (par boiled)- ¾ cup

Cooked rice- ¾ cup

Ginger-garlic paste- ½ tsp

Green chilli paste- 1tsp

Oil-1tsp

Green onions chopped- ½ cup

Garam masala- 1 ½ tsp

 

METHOD

 

1.     Add oil in a thick bottom heated pan. Add all the spices and sauté.

2.     Add chopped vegetables, prepared chicken, garam masala and salt to taste.

3.     Mix it well and add cooked rice. Serve hot. If veg/chicken stock is there then cook rice with that.

 

Suggested menu- Any kind of veg soup with veg raita.

Instead of chicken you can use tofu, low fat paneer, fish or sprouts.

To give colour use spinach or tomato + beetroot puree.
