Healthy Pizza

INGREDIENTS

 

2 whole wheat pizza bases

1 pcs boneless chicken breast / 1 cup  Mushroom

1 tsp olive oil

1  onion sliced

 2 capsicum sliced

1 med tomato – deseed and chopped finely

1/2 cup low fat shredded paneer

Salt to taste

 

For Sauce 

1 cup tomato ketchup

Salt to taste

1/4 tsp flaked red chillies

1/4 tsp dried mixed herbs

1/4 tsp red chilli powder

 

METHOD

 

1.     Rinse the chicken/ mushroom well in lukewarm water and cut into chunks/ thick slices , boil till done

2.     Heat olive oil in a pan, add sliced onion, capsicum , salt and herbs, saute till mixture turns pink.

3.     Mix the cooked chicken or mushroom slices, saute for 2 mins and let stand.

 

For Sauce

1. Add 1 cup tomato sauce in a pan and cook on slow flame with water till a thin paste is formed

2. Add some red chili powder and mixed italian herbs while cooking and let stand

 

Preheat the oven on 200 degrees 

1.   Take a pizza base, spread sauce evenly on top and apply olive to the base of the pizza bread to prevent sticking.

2.   Evenly spread the cooked chicken / mushroom , sprinkle chopped tomatoes and grated paneer.

3.   Bake till crust is crispy and the topped paneer becomes golden brown.

4.   Remove from oven, cut into slices and sprinkle the seasoning of flaked red chillies.

5.   Serve hot with clear soup
